1. To Make: Chop the lavender buds in a coarse way and put them in the quart jar in case of utilizing fresh lavender. Put the dried lavender buds into the jar but crumble it first slightly with your hands. Put jojoba oil over the whole plant material. Stir well with the chopstick to make sure there are no air bubbles and the plant material is totally covered. By leaving excess air space in the jar, don not allow the fresh herb to go through the oxidizing and spoilage process. Top it with some more oil and close the lid tightly in case it needs that. After marking the contents and the date on the jar, keep it in a warm, dark place to infuse it within two to four weeks. Shake the jar each and every day. After two to four weeks strain the herb out of the oil into a sterile 8-ounce bottle. Open the vitamin E capsules and remove the gel caps and force the liquid into the bottle. Cap and shake thoroughly To blend. In case you used fresh lavender flowers, note whether the plant juice has sunk to the bottom of the oil a week after infusion. Assuming so, decant the oil then pour this into a clean bottle that is dry.
2. To Store: Write the contents and two-year expiration date on the bottle's label. If you used a different oil in place of the jojoba oil, change the expiration date to reflect the oil's shelf life. Keep out of direct sunlight in a cool, dry place.
